10K & 5K race through the autumn parks and riverfront of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Since iTs inception the River City rat race has donated more than $144,000!
Our goal has always been to keep Fort Wayne a healthy and happy community in working with the Central YMCA. Each year we give 100% of our profits from the River City Rat Race to the Central YMCA.
This money is used to give financially challenged children and adults an opportunity to use all the programs the YMCA has to offer. Besides the general use of the YMCA, the YMCA also offers programs that include Diabetes Prevention, Youth in Government, Teen Leaders and Livestrong for Cancer Survivors. Since our inception in 2000, we have given over $144,000 to the Central YMCA’s annual fund drive.
